Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of our programs. Help with an event. Prepare a meal or hold a donation drive. Support the Resource Center.   Offer compassion and support. Even an hour of volunteering can change lives.

Gifts From The Heart

The Gifts From The Heart program is based on the premise that families prefer to provide for themselves rather than accept a handout. During the holiday season, we offer a high-quality, dignity-affirming, affordable shopping experience for families served by a coalition of community organizations. There are several ways to get involved, from collecting toys to wrapping gifts.

Join us and spread some holiday cheer to local families in need!

Kids in Daycare

Become a Host Congregation

Family Promise shelters families in congregations and other host sites. Guests receive hospitality and meals from the congregation’s members and other volunteers. Find out how your organization can help.

Events

Family Promise hosts events each year to engage community support, raise funds, and spread the word about our mission. These events are invaluable opportunities to create relationships with people and organizations who want to work together to end family homelessness in Brevard.
