ABOUT YOUR DONATION
Family Promise of Brevard is extremely cost-effective because we are highly leveraged by volunteer service and in-kind giving from our network congregations who provide shelter, meals, and staffing.
On average, 86% of the families we serve in our shelter program will gain long-term housing while in the program, in an average of 34 days. 87% of our families in aftercare will remain housed one year after graduation. Not only does this high success rate mean many more families are stably housed, it is also a tremendous cost saving to the community as diversion from far more expensive interventions. Investing in our program is an investment in our community.
As a 501 (c)(3) charitable non-profit organization, donations are eligible as tax deductible and assist us towards our goal of sheltering families experiencing homelessness, while providing the support they need as they move back into housing.
